Aloha from The Hawaiian Islands!

I was born in Washington DC, though lived most of my life throughout Virginia before moving to Kauai at the end of 1997 with my wife Michele and our three kids Hunter, Scott and Chelsea. The allure for me was the stunning beauty of Hawaii, a warmer Tropical climate and a year-round healthy, active, outdoor lifestyle. I am 47 years old now in 2009 and have no plans to leave this amazing place called Paradise!

I began getting serious about photography in 1998, though it did not take very long after starting before realizing  I had found something I truly loved doing. A really satisfying kind of work and experience whenever I can get out there all alone with just my camera and gear. Words are not easy to find that describe how much I have valued being out in the natural elements capturing the beauty that surrounds us all whenever I can. Just an amazing experience to enjoy!

Waterfalls, mountains, valleys and canyons, beaches, flowers, wildlife, monuments, forests, streams, lava flows, seascapes, wildlife, fall foliage and more; I truly enjoy photographing all of it! Though because of  living in Hawaii most of what I photograph today is Tropical in nature.

I try to work every location as thoroughly and carefully as I possibly can, often returning throughout the changing conditions trying to find something special, something unique and beautiful to capture on film. I have also taken recent photography trips to Shenandoah National Park, the Pacific Northwest and Maryland's Eastern Shore. We will be adding these images to our Website Galleries soon.

It has been my hope and goal to share some of these special moments in time captured with my camera and lens with people all over the world.
